Craignure Golf Club – Local Rules

Out of Bounds (rule 27.1)
a. Roadside fence 8th/17th & 9th/18th holes – NB white stakes near bridge, tractor shed, car park and clubhouse.

Ground under repair (rule 25.1)
a. From bend on the dogleg 6th/15th to 6th/15th green – relief from abnormal ground conditions, casual water and GUR.
b. Relief from the ditch from 1st tee to Clubhouse.

Roads & Paths (rule 24.2)
a. All roads and paths are immovable obstructions.
Players are entitled to a free lift and drop.

Water Hazards (rule 26)
a. Water hazards (Marked Yellow)
e.g. The burn from ditch on 1st/10th and bog near 4th/13th green.
b. Lateral Water Hazard (Marked Red) e.g. The swamp at 6th/15th.

Artificial Devices (Rule 14.3)
a. For all play at this course a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that may affect play (e.g. gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.

Etiquette
a. Always ensure safety of fellow golfers
ie. Allow players to leave 6th/15th green before driving off 1st /10th tees.
b. Please replace divots and repair pitch marks.
